The official route of the Babia y Luna Natural Park. Passes through Babia Alta's most beautiful villages: Cacabillos, Lago de Babia, Las Murias and Quintanilla. Waymarked, suitable for all the family.

Ascent to Peña Grachera (1,931 m) with panoramic views over the whole region. The route passes by the spectacular Laguna Grande. Requires navigation skills and good fitness. The reward: one of the most impressive landscapes in the Cantabrian Mountains.
Starts from Piedrafita de Babia
The most complete route to discover the region. Passes through Vega de Viejos, Puente de Las Palomas, Carrasconte, Quintanilla, Peñalba, Mena and Cabrillanes. Stone villages, endless meadows and Babia's silence at its purest.

13 km from the house · Start from Villablino
Former mining railway converted into a cycling lane. Flat, paved surface with no gradients. Connects Villablino with the Capercaillie Interpretation Centre in Caboalles. Perfect for families with children or a relaxed afternoon ride.
Passes through the area around Piedrafita
Traverses the northern half of the Babia y Luna Natural Park. Links the Puerto de Somiedo with Caldas de Luna through the most remote and wild landscapes in the region. Requires MTB experience and good fitness.

Crossing of the southern half of the Natural Park. Valleys, centuries-old oak forests and mountain passes in a technically and physically demanding route. One of the great MTB routes in northern Spain.
